batsukoishi (punishment-loving arc)

this arc was originally ch5's all-cast review session. subsequent releases of ch5 changed the review session to instead be the first staff room segment with the author addressing readers directly, as batsukoishi was deemed too tonally dissonant

• after suffering through a punishment game, at home keiichi prays to no longer lose during club. jirou, ooishi and irie (the "soul brothers") appear before him and explain to him his problem is he isn't motivated enough to win: they describe to him potential punishment game scenarios of sexualizing the girls to get motivated
• its all very stupid and over the top, crosses the line worse than usual imo
• keiichi then succeeds in making the girls play those punishment games, until he tries to involve their teacher in one, where he is accosted by the school principal
• the scene cuts out to a typical all-cast review session: the girls are mad at keiichi for this and as revenge come up with their own scenarios of keiichi being humiliated, narrated by shion. of note is one where she ships satoshi and keiichi (satoshi is presumed dead at this point in the story????)
• ooishi's pov: keiichi has escaped and calls oiishi for help at a payphone booth. it plays out like onikakushi's finale, except its the girls harrassing him rather than his suicide. keiichi dies and ooishi determines the case closed
• if this had been arc5's bonuc i would have hurt myself and others
