eva was meant to be play a small part in progressing changeling's day 11 main quest:
strings 527184 through 527196 of the russian and both english versions of main.dat are unused, sandwiched between aglaya and blocks main quest dialogue(?). they detail an exchange between changeling and eva referencing one of bachelor's day 11 mutiny-related quests; this exchange never happens in-game as eva dies on day 7 in the changeling route.
in the day 11 main quest, aglaya asks the changeling to find the bachelor *there seems to be an older version of this aglaya exchange remnant. lots to sort thru if eva is spawned in, she will mention that bachelor has gone to consult block, giving the player/changeling the lead necessary to progress: talking to block.
if you spawn eva in after speaking to aglaya and before progressing to the next step in the quest (talking to block), the dialogue will be triggered, complete with rewarding changeling with a unique otherwise-unobtainable journal entry:
The Bachelor went to visit the soldiers. He seems
trouble by what is happening among the military.
However, I don't think he was able to sneak by the
Commander... I wonder what is happening there
right now?

eva will loop through the same expression animation throughout the entire exchange despite expressing distress, suggesting this dialogue as a quest step was scrapped before being completed. whether this is because ipl recalled that eva is in fact dead on changelings day 11, or changed the plot to have eva die in changeling route as well (rather than survive as she does in the haruspex route) very(?) late in development is unclear.
